Update: 06-15-2021
Road Ranger is taking steps to ensure our friends on the road have access to quality information and medical care to mitigate their risk of contracting the COVID-19 virus. That’s being said, we are excited to share that during the entire month of June we have partnered with the Illinois Emergency Management Agency to provide free - one shot - Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccinations.
These on-site vaccination centers are our way of aiding in the continuation of transportation across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The goal of this service is to alleviate some of the difficulties our OTR Drivers, as well as everyday 4-wheel drivers, face with the inability to find the time or convenient place to receive vaccinations. Although this service is currently only being offered at our Illinois locations, we look forward to helping the world get back to normal. As vaccination pop-up centers are scheduled, we will be posting locations and times on all social media outlets and our company website.
In other very exciting news, as of June 15th, 2021, Road Ranger no longer requires customers who are fully vaccinated to wear masks while in-store. While we take this step towards returning to the norm we once knew, we do ask that non-vaccinated customers continue to practice safety guidelines provided by the CDC and prevention guidance programs.
Update: 4-16-2020
In keeping to our commitment to safety, every Road Ranger has had a Plexiglas partition installed around the checkout area in both our stores and restaurants for added protection of everyone in the building.
Road Ranger, as an essential business, will continue to be open supporting everyone out on the road. In these uncertain times, the safety and health of our customers and employees remains our top priority.
A Message for our Customers: 3-13-2020
Dear Valued Customers,
Road Ranger greatly values the health and safety of our customers, our employees, and our communities. Along with the rest of the world, we are closely monitoring the current COVID-19 (“Coronavirus”) situation as it unfolds, and we are following all communications and guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
We also understand the key role our Travel Centers play both in our local communities and on our nation’s highways. That is why we want to assure you, our valued customers, that we are taking precautions to maintain a healthy and safe environment at our Travel Centers by implementing practices that will protect the wellbeing of all our guests.
First and foremost, we have increased our normal cleaning efforts at our facilities by implementing high frequency sanitizing of all our most commonly contacted surfaces 24 hours a day.
Additionally, we are now distributing hand sanitizer dispensers to be made available for use at all our Travel Centers.
Lastly, we are encouraging our employees to stay home if they experience concerning symptoms, and we are supporting them with a special paid sick leave. Not only will this help stop the spread of the virus, but it is also the right thing to do.
As this situation continues to develop, Road Ranger will take any and all additional measures that are necessary to protect the communities that make our Travel Centers great. We thank you for being our loyal customer.
Sincerely,
Marko Zaro
Chief Executive Officer
